DIY Garden
To all you fellow Blogger behold the beginning of my Great Garden. I got the seed planters in a "seeder" and the ones that make it out get re-planted in a bigger pot. Note to self: if you again wish to "use" a "seeder" do write the names of the plants in a waterproof document. If not at the first rain the names will disappear and then its a "Surprise Garden". I wish I though of that before. Darn it!
Materials:
Seeds
Pots
Good planting Soil
Water
Fill 3/4 of the "Seeder" with soil and then water (don't be shy with the water) the soil. Put one to two (depending on the size) seeds in each slot and then cover with soil and water again. Depending on the seed you should see a sprout in as early at two weeks, but they may take months, so research the seed before planting so you know what to expect.
Hope you like it, I know I did.

Puree Foods
The fruits have a double "job" since One is used for juice and the other for dessert.
So far he has eaten all the family of pumpkins, rice, beans, malanga, green beans, spinach, broccoli and chicken. (He also ate avocado, potatoes and carrots, but it didn't seat well with him.)
Except for the Malanga and chicken that were boiled, everything else was steamed. My in-laws gave me a steaming pot that works wonders. After they are steamed I just put it in the magick bullet and puree.
If its a new taste I add a little breast milk to help with the transition, if not just water to make it smooth.
He is a great eater and loves mostly everything.
It a hard job to make his dinner plus ours, but I hope that someday he can just eat all the things that we eat. I also hope that by that time we have started to eat better too.
I still have not done the crafting organizing exercise but will soon.
See ya,
G

Fun in the Sun
We just celebrated our second year anniversary, and we got invited to Bahia Salinas in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico by my in-laws. We had a great time, but The Prince enjoyed it much more. He got to experience a pool for the first time and a lot of willing hands to pick him up. His mommy (aka ME) got to experience a pool filled with a natural salt? It used to me like a mud bath with the salts but they made it into this little pool with salts and oils that are supposed to be great for your skin. (Maybe you have to go everyday 'cause I didn't see any changes) But other than that we got to breastfeed at the beach while looking at the tranquil sea. The inn was only filled with our own party so it was really quiet and nice.
It did give me time to miss time of my own and crafting whenever I felt like it. Don't get me wrong I wouldn't change my life for anything in the world.
I do feel that I'm missing in a lot of things because I have not organized my life.
So, BEFORE I make any more crafts, I WILL first organize my time. But if I must choose between crafts and CPA study time, what am I going to do??
Well I must make this short and sweet because I need some shut eye. Tomorrow I must take the Prince to get some Labs done and maybe take him to the PED, he is acting really strange.
See Ya,
G

Craftings
I made all my wedding adornments and keepsake. I made my own very adorn veil.
Lately since my prince was born my crafting time has been reduced to 0 and well that has been problematic for my blog.
I did get the duck project done while in a very short vacation. So must get more projects done. :)
I have various projects in mind.
Scrapbook: wedding, honeymoon, The prince
Crochet: christmas presents, 4 baby shower presents
Mundillo a dress for a soon to be born goddaughter.
Enough said. I have a lot of projects and very little time. Must set a goal for this.
Did I mention I'm also studying for the CPA exam?
Yep... that too.
Soon let me do a plan to get all of things done.

Away for soo long
I've been away for a little while, since embarking on mommy hood. And really since this is more of an e-diary I don't think anyone will mind. I did make something thou, a duck, crocheted of course. See the work in progress. I first did the head and wings and while crocheting the blanket the head and wings got attached.
See you soon.
