Well when changes have to be made, they have to BE made. I want to take my blog into another direction than the one it had so the name had to go.
I want to do and eventually sell my crafts and crochet I needed a new name.
And maybe all of my dreams will come true.
You can see a baby wipes case I made for my soon to come bundle of joy. Later I will post the entire process of this craft.
Thanks for reading.

De-Freezing Spaghetti
So, the experiment did nut turn out as I expected. I cooked a lot of spaghetti last week and froze half to give myself a break from cooking this week on Wednesday. Note to self: LET IT THAW. I took it out of the freezer and into the pot. It wasn't defrosting and it was burning, so I put some (quite a lot actually) of water in the pot to help it. I also added a bit of tomato sauce for flavor. So what happened? It started to boil. BOIL. What happens to already boiled spaghetti that boils again, it turns to mush. SO we are eating mush spaghetti today. Because honestly my feet cannot stand anymore, and if Dear Hubby doesn't want it he can have Corn Flakes. This will not be my last attempt into freeze/unfreeze dilemma. I will survive. I will get better and eventually get the hang of it. Until then. Mush spaghetti will be.

DYI Changing Pad Cover
So, I will be 36 weeks this Sunday and the baby can come at any minute now. So I decided to do the last things on my list. I have a few to go still but I took care of the changing pad cover that I had not found in any store. I decided to make one since it's nor really complicated and I had some sewing fabric left over from the Nursing Cover Project. I took my measurements twice and cut the fabric. Honestly it's just like making a pillow cover. But when I sewed everything in place and put it on. Apparently I didn't take the measurements right. Note to self: next time measure 3 times. LOL.
Well here is a picture of the finished project:
So, I guess I will have to make another one later on. And remember to add more fabric.

35 Weeks and Counting
Already 35 Weeks have passed and my little one is starting to get ready to make his debut in a month. The nursery is almost ready. (Only a few finishing touches) but besides that everything else is ready but me. There are times during the day (mostly when he is active and doesn't let me breathe) when I wish I would go into labor soon and have him already. (This also happens when my feet hurt a lot) But most of the time I am scared, not only of childbirth, but of taking him home. What am I going to do with "it" when I get home. I mean they say that newborns eat, cry, sleep and poop. I plan on breastfeeding so I can't count on anyone else to feed him. I can delegate diaper changes but that's about it. I guess I am just scared of the unknown.
And another thing, what am I going to do about my family, specially my mom. This is her first grandchild and she is almost certain, and we have told her a LOT of times that it isn't going to happen, that she is coming to stay with me when he is born. My MIL is very excited too, this is her 4th but this one is the closest to home.
How I am going to handle them all, without hurting anyone's feeling.
On a lighter note here are some pictures of the nursery.
This his changing table with everything needed at the sides. The Changing Mattress just needs a cover and we are done. I know there is stuff on the floor, those are the details I mentioned needed work.
So this is the closet and all the clothes are organized by size.
Except for a few items most of the decoration is from the baby shower. The clothespin line is from a game played at the Shower. And the carriage on the center is a giftcard holder.
So the balloon is from the shower but the little plaque is from a trip to Florida I made in September.
The bag is ready with diapers, pads, clothes and everything for the baby's First Outing or for the hospital. I am not quite sure what I need to bring to the hospital, so I made a bag.
The crib needs to be set, but I figured that should be done when we get home from the hospital because it might get dust.
While I was on my Florida Vacation, my husband stayed home and made this with a friend. I always wanted a sky on the roof for the baby to look at and he made it for me. I was watching the birth of our niece and helping the mom. So, he stayed home.
Well that all the news for now.

New Year Celebration...
We said goodbye to 2011 and welcomed 2012 at my Sister's house. Memorable, not just cause I was unable to walk because of my way swollen feet, but because we are a trio now. This is Baby Boy's First New Year. Even if he is just in the womb. On a side note he even got Christmas Presents, and they weren't from me. I made a secret resolution that I am posting online which means it is no longer secret, I want to have and raise a happy child. I also want to be happier. I sometimes find myself a little sad and melancholic but I want all that away for the birth of my son and I want him to be the happiest child ever.
DH was very happy and excited to start the New Year because it means that the baby is soon to come. Which sometimes makes me feel like just an incubator, but hey at least he is happy.
Here are some pictures of the night.
Of course they only gave me sparkling grape juice. (EWWW)
He went to rest his eyes and ended up sleeping for a couple of hours and then it was a nightmare to wake him. Here he is looking at the clock in the TV.
Odd enough we didn't take the First Picture of 2012.
Although they did not photograph well here are some fireworks. We didn't even have to pay for a show. The neighbor apparently spent thousand of dollars because he just kept on and on for like a half an hour. They were very pretty but I felt safer inside. Since becoming pregnant I also became a chicken.
