Power Word

 

What an interesting concept. Power Words, it can go either way. Can be something mechanical, emotional or even sexual. It all depends on our intonation, and when you type, well how is that really?

I wanted to do a writing challenge and use a list of power words, but then I looked over the list and I didn’t like any other word. Maybe what I consider to be power is not what you do. Got me thinking what ARE my power words? What would render me speechless, surprised, happy or sad.

Baby Girl Dress

 

I’ve made a couple of dresses for my Baby Girl, and this is one of them

I took the patter from Crochet World Magazine then added the flowers and trim for contrast. The yarn is extremely soft and pricey I found on a local shop. The yarn was really soft but so heavy and that ultimately made me not put the dress on her as much as I would have liked.

Pretty Little Christmas Ornaments

 

My son is in head start and I felt like I do not participate enough in his school so….

I decided to make something for the kids for Christmas. There are 20 kids, ten girls and ten boys with 4 teachers. I bought 10 different color yarn to make Christmas ornaments which the teacher later can make a craft with the kids in December. Maybe place a picture so they can put it on the Christmas tree. Who knows. I just hope I get them done in time and that they like ‘em.

I used this yarn with a 3mm crochet hook

Maybe I am. Who knows. I have not been myself in so long I guess I forgot who I am. Penny for my thoughts? Nah.. they are so scattered they aren’t even worth that.

I wrote a long post and I was content with it. Then the program I used for blogging broke (not technical term) and I lost it.

 

I do not want to do it again.

Beach Time

Pregnancy Number 2

 

As I write this I am entering week 32 in my pregnancy. Quite the surprise as I started a new job and got pregnant at the same time.

I am thankful of my job accepting us there and being just great.

I am also studying and crafting. I have crocheted a blanket, a dress, a cocoon and I am working on another dress. I have to sew the baby carrier cover and other items before my due date.

My son is excited to have a baby sister most days. He is an energetic 3 year old soon to be 4.

I think this is all I can muster tonight. Hopefully tomorrow I can put picture of my blanket.
